Under the MoU, BSNL and NRL will collaborate to roll out India’s first 5G CNPN within the refinery sector, paving the way for secure, real-time, and ultra-reliable connectivity. This move will allow industries to integrate next-generation technologies into their operations, making processes more efficient and resilient while reducing dependency on external systems.

Technological Leap for Refinery Sector

According to CMD NRL, the introduction of 5G CNPN will not only boost operational efficiency and cybersecurity but also open the door for transformative solutions such as AR/VR-based training, Digital Twins for simulations, and real-time IoT applications. These advancements are expected to redefine how India’s refinery sector operates, marking it as a game-changing milestone.

BSNL’s Commitment to Digital Infrastructure

The partnership represents BSNL’s dedication to providing next-generation digital infrastructure for India’s strategic industries. The deployment as a technological leap forward, enabling the country to embrace a digitally intelligent and self-reliant Bharat. The initiative also reflects BSNL’s role as a trusted public telecom provider in advancing India’s Digital India mission.
