The Union Home Ministry has granted approval to Puducherry’s proposal to implement a 10% horizontal reservation for students who graduate from government higher secondary schools pursuing undergraduate medical education. This reservation policy, effective immediately, will benefit students who have cleared the NEET examination and completed their education from government schools starting from standard one.
