DD Sports secures Television rights for FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023

DD Sports has partnered with 1Stadia to broadcast the highly anticipated 9th edition of the FIFA Women’s World Cup, bringing joy and excitement to fans.

The tournament, starting on July 20, 2023, will mark the inaugural occasion when the World Cup is co-hosted by two countries, namely Australia and New Zealand.

1Stadia has granted streaming platform FanCode the sub-licensing rights for streaming the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023, while public broadcaster DD Sports has been entrusted with the sub-licensing rights for television broadcasting.

1Stadia, a US-based company specializing in technological advancements in the sports and media rights industries, has secured an exclusive broadcasting rights agreement for FIFA tournaments in the Indian subcontinent.

This agreement covers nations such as India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan, granting 1Stadia the sole authority to broadcast these tournaments in the region.

FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023: A Grand Spectacle of 32 Teams with 64 Electrifying Matches

Featuring 32 competing teams in the showpiece international event, this year’s game is being hailed as one of the grandest to date. A total of 64 electrifying matches will take place across 10 different venues, with the New Zealand vs. Norway match kicking off the excitement.

The US Women’s National Team, two-time defending champions, will be striving for a third consecutive victory, while other formidable contenders include Germany, Sweden, England, and France.
