Gujarat Launches Jan Suraksha Santrupti Abhiyan to Expand Welfare Reach
On June 30, 2025, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel launched the Jan Suraksha Santrupti Abhiyan in Gandhinagar, marking the start of a national campaign aimed at bringing unserved eligible citizens under the ambit of key government welfare schemes. The initiative targets expanding coverage of social security programs like the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana, and Jan Dhan Yojana, while also raising awareness on digital frauds and updating KYC information.
