Uttar Pradesh claimed the second position in the medal tally, bagging a total of 62 medals. The state’s para athletes demonstrated their prowess with 25 gold, 23 silver and 14 bronze medals. Tamil Nadu secured the third spot, showcasing commendable performances and earning a total of 20 gold, eight silver and 14 bronze medals.

The medal events at KIPG 2023 spanned across seven sports – para athletes, para archery, para football, para badminton, para table tennis and para weightlifting (powerlifting). These events took place at three different Sports Authority of India (SAI) facilities – the Indira Gandhi Stadium, Shooting Range in Tughlakabaad and the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
