In collaboration with the Biden administration’s US-India initiative on critical and emerging technology, AAU has established a national task force that aims to expand technological and industrial cooperation between the United States and India.
The task force will convene on a monthly basis to identify priority areas for bilateral research and educational collaboration, examine current programs that could serve as models for future partnerships, and devise effective strategies to advance this mission.
Bendapudi, who currently serves as the president of the Pennsylvania State University, is deemed to be a suitable candidate for this task force due to her 30-year experience as a leader in both higher education and business, according to a statement released by the university.
