India Ranks 13th in QS World Future Skills Index 2027

India has secured the 13th position in the QS World Future Skills Index of 2027 and it highlights the country’s growing readiness for the artificial intelligence-driven future. The The latest report which was released by the global higher education analytics firm QS has recognizes the India as one of the strongest-performing lower-middle-income economies in preparing for the AI-led economic transformation.

What Is the QS World Future Skills Index 2027?

The QS World Future Skills Index is the global assessment which measures how prepared countries are to capitalize the opportunities that are created by the artificial intelligence, digital technologies and emerging industries.

The 2027 edition evaluated total 89 countries through a combination of the higher education data, labor market indicators, AI readiness metrics and economic transformation measures.

The index also aims to showcases whether nations can effectively develop, attract and deploy future-ready talent in an increasingly technology-driven global economy.

India has achieved the overall score of the 89.4 out of 100 and it placing it as 13th globally.
