India’s Total Fertility Rate Remains at 2.0: SRS 2021 Report

India’s Total Fertility Rate (TFR) stood at 2.0 in 2021, the same as in 2020, as per the Sample Registration System (SRS) report 2021 released by the Registrar General of India (RGI).
