IPL 2025 Revised Schedule Announced: Full List of Match and Important Dates
The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 faced an unprecedented interruption when the tournament was suspended on May 8, 2025, due to security concerns during the match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals in Dharamsala. However, after extensive consultations with government and security agencies, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially announced the resumption of IPL 2025.
The remaining 17 matches—comprising 12 league-stage games and 5 playoff fixtures—will now be played from May 17 to June 3, 2025, across six key Indian cities: Bengaluru, Jaipur, Delhi, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad.
The final match of the tournament is scheduled for June 3, 2025, at 7:30 PM IST. The venues for the playoff matches, including Qualifier 1, Eliminator, Qualifier 2, and the Final, are yet to be confirmed.
To accommodate all fixtures within the condensed schedule, the BCCI has introduced two double-headers, both on Sundays (May 18 and May 25). This move ensures that fans continue to enjoy a high-octane finish to the tournament, while maintaining fairness and competitiveness.
