ISRO’s Nationwide Land Mapping Project to Empower Panchayats with Data-Driven Planning

On the occasion of National Panchayati Raj Day the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has announced that the major milestone to supporting rural governance. This agency has completed the high-resolution land use and land cover mapping for the entire country. This initiative aims to empower the local bodies with accurate data for the better planning and the decision-making.
