Jawed Ashraf becomes India’s next Ambassador to France

Jawed Ashraf has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to France. He is presently High Commissioner of India to the Republic of Singapore. He was a 1991 batch Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer. He will succeed Vinay Mohan Kwatra. Vinay Mohan Kwatra will become the next Ambassador of India to Nepal, he will succeed Manjeev Singh Puri. Vinay Mohan Kwatra was a 1988 batch IFS officer.
