Late Chaman Arora Honored with Sahitya Akademi Award 2024 for Dogri Literature

The government has announced that the Sahitya Akademi Award 2024 in Dogri will be posthumously conferred upon late Chaman Arora for his book Ik Hor Ashwthama. The book, a collection of short stories, was unanimously selected by a three-member jury following the official selection process. The award will be presented to his family member or nominee at a special ceremony in New Delhi on March 8, 2025.
