Max India’s subsidiary partners with IIT Delhi for senior citizen care

Max India Ltd announced a strategic partnership between its subsidiary, Antara Assisted Care Services Limited, and the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi). This collaboration aims to address the challenges faced by India’s aging population by developing tailored solutions to improve their quality of life.

Partnership Objectives:

  1. Research and Development: Conduct research to design solutions specifically targeting the needs of seniors, particularly in mobility-related disabilities and cognitive health.
  2. Product Development: Create mobility-assisting products and cognitive enhancement games to tackle age-related issues like Dementia.
  3. Inclusive Design Solutions: Focus on developing solutions promoting safety, independence, cognition, and communication for the elderly population.

Key Initiatives:

  1. Knowledge Exchange: Facilitate the exchange of expertise between Antara Assisted Care Services Limited and IIT Delhi.
  2. Research Consultancy: Collaborate on research projects aimed at developing innovative solutions for senior care.
  3. Entrepreneurial Development Programs (EDPs): Foster entrepreneurship in the field of senior care by offering specialized programs.
  4. Resource Sharing: Share laboratory resources to facilitate the development and testing of products and solutions.

Specific Project:

  • Customized Walking Aid: Design a walking aid tailored to the specific needs and preferences of seniors to enhance mobility and independence.
