Dr Adarsh Swaika, a joint secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs, has been appointed India’s next Ambassador to Kuwait. Dr Adarsh Swaika (IFS: 2002), is presently Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs. He is expected to take up his assignment shortly. Swaika will succeed Sibi George as the Indian envoy in Kuwait. There has been a significant upswing in ties between India and Kuwait in the last few years.
