Miss World 2024, Krystyna Pyszkova from Czech Republic Wins the Crown
Krystyna Pyszkova from the Czech Republic was crowned as the new Miss World 2024 at a grand event in Mumbai, India. The previous Miss World 2022, Karolina Bielawska from Poland, crowned her successor in a magnificent ceremony.
The Miss World Humanitarian Award was given to Nita Ambani for her work at the Reliance Foundation, a non-profit organization. Julia Morley CBE, the Chairwoman of the Miss World Organization, presented her with the award.
The 71st Miss World pageant, held in India after 27 years, generated a lot of excitement and anticipation. It celebrated womanhood and diversity, and featured stunning outfits designed by Indian designer Archana Kochhar.
The panel of judges included Bollywood actors Kriti Sanon and Pooja Hegde, along with other notable personalities. The event was co-hosted by former Miss World Megan Young and Indian film director Karan Johar. Indian singers Shaan, Neha Kakkar, and Tony Kakkar performed at the event.
Around 120 contestants from various countries participated in the Miss World 2024 contest. Sini Shetty represented India, the country that last won the Miss World title in 2017 with Manushi Chhillar.
