The newest district of Haryana is Charkhi Dadri, created in 2016. It was separated from Bhiwani district. Charkhi Dadri is both a city and a district. It is around 90 km from Delhi and is known for its clean environment and agricultural land.

The area has historical importance and was merged into modern Haryana during administrative reforms. The creation of Charkhi Dadri district made it easier to manage local governance and bring development closer to the people.
