PM Modi Inaugurates and Lays Foundation for ₹8,300 Crore Development Projects in Tamil Nadu
On 6th April 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, where he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for a series of significant infrastructure projects worth over ₹8,300 crore. Marking the auspicious occasion of Shri Ram Navami and the BJP Foundation Day, the PM began his visit with prayers at the revered Ramanathaswamy Temple. A key highlight was the inauguration of India’s first vertical lift sea bridge—the New Pamban Rail Bridge. His address celebrated Tamil Nadu’s cultural pride, economic potential, and pivotal role in India’s development journey.
