A deepfake video of her was circulated online, raising alarms about the potential dangers of malicious AI technology and highlighting the risks associated with digital content manipulation. The Role of the National Brand Ambassador

As the national brand ambassador for I4C, Rashmika Mandanna will lead nationwide campaigns aimed at educating the public about various aspects of cyber crime. These campaigns will focus on issues such as:

The Cyber Dost initiative, a cyber safety and security awareness platform managed by the Ministry of Home Affairs, welcomed Mandanna’s appointment with enthusiasm. A post on X stated, “Excited to be onboard the pan-India star @iamRashmika as I4C’s National Brand Ambassador. We are joining forces to fortify India’s digital landscape; we’ll tackle cybercrimes head-on.”

The I4C was established to create a comprehensive framework that enables law enforcement agencies to tackle cyber crime effectively. The center aims to foster coordination among various agencies and provide the necessary resources and support to combat cyber threats.
