Reliance Consumer Products (RCPL) has solidified a strategic partnership with Elephant House, a prominent Sri Lankan beverage manufacturer. This collaboration aims to introduce, market, distribute, and sell Elephant House brand beverages throughout India, thereby augmenting RCPL’s beverage offerings.

Elephant House Brand Overview

  1. Owned by Ceylon Cold Stores: Elephant House is a subsidiary of Ceylon Cold Stores PLC, which is under the umbrella of John Keells Holdings PLC, Sri Lanka’s largest listed conglomerate.

  2. Product Range: Elephant House boasts an extensive portfolio of beverages, including popular offerings like Necto, Cream Soda, EGB (Ginger Beer), Orange Barley, and Lemonade, among others.

RCPL’s Expanded Portfolio

  1. Beverage Expansion: The partnership with Elephant House bolsters RCPL’s beverage portfolio, allowing for the introduction and promotion of Elephant House beverages across India.

  2. Diverse FMCG Portfolio: RCPL currently offers a versatile range of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), including iconic beverage brands like Campa and Sosyo Hajoori, confectionery items from Lotus Chocolates and Toffeeman, snacks such as Alan’s Bugles and Masti Oye, Sri Lanka’s leading biscuit brand Maliban, as well as staples and daily convenience products under the Independence brand.
  3. Home and Personal Care Products: In addition to beverages and snacks, RCPL also offers a variety of home and personal care products, including dishwashing liquids, laundry detergent, soaps, and toilet cleaners.
