Sri Lanka’s Shehan Madushanka suspended after heroin arrest

Sri Lankan fast bowler, Shehan Madushanka has been suspended from all forms of cricket with immediate effect for alleged possession of heroin. The decision to suspend will stand until the board conducts a full inquiry of the matter.

Madushanka took a hat-trick against Bangladesh on his one-day international debut in January 2018. He also played two T20 matches against Bangladesh in 2018 but has not played an international since due to injuries.
