H.D. Kumaraswamy is the third richest minister in the Modi 3.0 Cabinet, with assets worth Rs.217 crore. He is from the Janata Dal (Secular) and represents Channapatna, Karnataka. Kumaraswamy, a former Chief Minister of Karnataka, won the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and was appointed as the Minister of Steel and Minister of Heavy Industries. This marks his first time serving in the Union Cabinet.
