Thierry Delaporte has been appointed by the IT major Wipro as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director (MD). He will replace Abidali Neemuchwala as the new CEO and MD of Wipro. Abidali Neemuchwala will relinquish his position as CEO and MD on 1st June 2020. Thierry Delaporte will take over the position on 6th July 2020.

Thierry Delaporte has served as the Chief Operating Officer of Capgemini Group and a member of its Group Executive Board. In his career of 25 years with Capgemini, he served at various leadership roles such as Chief Executive Officer of the Global Financial Services Strategic Business Unit, and head of all global service lines.
