Global passport rankings have been issued for 2025, showing how much freedom to travel citizens of different countries enjoy. The Passport Index by Arton Capital shows the United Arab Emirates has firmed up the top position in the ranking of the world’s strongest passports. The rankings are determined by the mobility score, which expresses the number of countries one can enter without a visa or with visa-on-arrival. Notable shifts include major countries dropping down in the rankings, such as traditional powerhouse countries like the United States and the United Kingdom, while India ranks 67th.
