NIIT University (NU) has appointed Shri Amitabh Kant, former NITI Aayog CEO and India’s G20 Sherpa, as its new Chancellor (Chairperson), effective March 10, 2025. His appointment signals a strategic leadership transition, bringing extensive experience in economic transformation, policy-making, and technology-driven innovation. Shri Kant succeeds Shri K Kasturirangan, whose tenure significantly contributed to NU’s growth and reputation.
