The largest district in Uttar Pradesh by area is Lakhimpur Kheri, which spans 7,680 square kilometers. In contrast, the smallest district is Hapur, covering just 660 square kilometers. Geographically, Ballia is the easternmost district, Saharanpur is the northernmost, Sonbhadra is the southernmost, and Shamli is the westernmost district in the state.
