FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup India 2020 has been postponed to 2021 due to coronavirus pandemic. FIFA-Confederations Covid-19 Working Group has taken the decision to hold the U-17 Women’s World Cup in India from February 17-March 7, 2021. Japan and North Korea have qualified from the two available slots for Asian teams, with India qualifying for the main tournament as hosts.

Five venues had already been finalised to hold games during the tournament. These 5 venues are Ahmedabad, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Kolkata and Navi Mumbai. The opening game being allotted to Guwahati and the final to Navi Mumbai.
