Chandulal Trivedi started his civil service career in the Central Provinces, serving as an assistant commissioner and later as the provincial director of industries and registrar of cooperative societies. Throughout his career, Trivedi received several honors, including being appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE), a Companion of the Order of the Indian Empire (CIE), and a Knight Commander of the Order of the Star of India (KCSI).
