Health Experts around the world are raising the concerns after the recent cases of hantavirus which is linked to cruise ship travel. This virus is rare but have the potential to become deadly as it mainly spread by rodents and it can lead to severe lung complications within few days. As the infections remain uncommon the closed environment of cruise ships has made it tougher to trace the exposure sources. Several authorities are now urging stronger sanitation, pest control and early medical attention to prevent the any further risks.

What Is Hantavirus and How Does It Spread?

Hantavirus refers to that group of viruses which are primarily transmitted through rodents such as rats and mice.
