Government Announces ₹100 Commemorative Coin Honoring Mohammed Rafi's Legacy

As part of the centenary celebrations, a 100-feet tall ‘Rafi Minar’ is being constructed in Rafi’s birthplace, Kotla Sultan Singh village near Amritsar, Punjab. This monument will have 100 of Rafi’s top songs engraved, serving as a lasting tribute to his musical genius.
