India ranked second at ISSF Junior World Championship in South Korea 2023

The ISSF Junior World Championships 2023 took place at Changwon Shooting Range, South Korea from July 16 to 24. In its third edition this year, the event featured 90 skilled Indian shooters participating in pistol, rifle, and shotgun disciplines within the under-21 age category, all striving to secure medals.

India Shines at ISSF Junior World Championships 2023 with 17 Medals and a Dominant Contingent of 90 Shooters

The 2023 junior world championships saw India sending the largest contingent of 90 shooters, followed by Korea with 66 participants and the USA with 43. A total of over 550 shooters from 44 countries competed in the championships.

India’s impressive performance led to a total of 17 medals, including six gold, six silver, and five bronze at the ISSF Junior World Championships 2023. Remarkably, seven Indian shooters managed to secure more than one medal during the competition.
