India to Host 8th International Solar Alliance Assembly In Delhi

India is set to host the 8th Session of the International Solar Alliance (ISA) Assembly from October 27 to 30, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The summit aims to bring together leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders from across the globe to strengthen international cooperation on solar energy adoption, policy alignment, and infrastructure development. Minister of New and Renewable Energy Pralhad Joshi officially announced the event during a press conference, highlighting India’s growing global role in clean energy transitions and sustainable power generation.

About the International Solar Alliance (ISA)

The International Solar Alliance is an intergovernmental treaty-based organization that was launched by India and France at COP21 in Paris in 2015. It aims to,

  • Facilitate solar finance, technology transfer, and capacity building
