The Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, a significant and much-anticipated development in India’s cultural and religious landscape, is set for inauguration. A focal point of this grand event is the 84-second ‘Mool Muhurat’, an auspicious moment during which the idol of Ram Lalla will be consecrated.
The ‘Mool Muhurat’ is scheduled to last for exactly 84 seconds, from 12:29:03 PM to 12:30:35 PM. This time frame has been carefully selected by Pandit Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid, an astrologer from Kashi, for its astrological significance and precision.
This 84-second period is part of the larger ‘Abhijit Muhurat’, a 48-minute window considered extremely sacred in Hindu astrology. The ‘Abhijit Muhurat’ on the day of the inauguration begins at 12:16 PM and ends at 12:59 PM.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will play a significant role in the ceremony, participating in the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ (consecration) of the Ram Lalla idol during the ‘Mool Muhurat’.
The ceremony is expected to be attended by over 7,000 dignitaries, including notable religious leaders, politicians, and celebrities. The complete ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony will begin 10 minutes before the ‘Mool Muhurat’ and may last until around 1 PM.
The ‘Mool Muhurat’ is seen as a moment of profound spiritual and cultural importance in India. The choice of this specific time is believed to bring blessings and positivity, not just to the temple but to the entire nation.
The inauguration during this auspicious time symbolizes a new era in the religious and cultural fabric of India. It marks the culmination of years of anticipation and planning for the Ram Mandir.
