This recognition underscores the park’s geological and ecological significance, with its 1.4-billion-year-old fossils, and represents a major boost for eco-tourism and scientific research in the region. The state government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has been actively working towards promoting such natural heritage sites globally.
