Sports Ministry Notifies Rules for National Sports Board and Tribunal Under Governance Reform Act
India’s Sports Ministry has notified the operational rules for the National Sports Board (NSB) and the National Sports Tribunal (NST). This will improve the transparent governance, faster dispute resolution and digital administration in the Indian sports. With the dedicated online legal portal, virtual hearings and independent oversight mechanisms this new framework will modernize the how the sports bodies are regulated and disputes are resolved across the country.
The Union Sports Ministry has officially released the operational framework for the two major institutions under the National Sports Governance Act which was passed last year.
