Statista Market Insights forecasts that the projected revenue of the global cryptocurrency market is estimated to reach US$45.3 billion, while the number of users is anticipated to rise to 861.01 million by 2025. Amid escalating tariff tensions in early April (2025), major cryptocurrencies hit a massive low, especially Bitcoin, which reached a record high of more than $107,000 in January 2025. However, following Trump’s announcement of halting tariffs for 90 days, Bitcoin’s value surged to a $1.92 trillion market cap, standing as the most valuable and most popular cryptocurrency.
Considered as digital gold, Bitcoin is dominating the global market with a total supply of only 21 million coins, and its growth is being driven by institutional backing, ETF approvals, and innovation, as reported by Forbes.
