Ukranian boxer Oleksandr Gvozdyk retires from sport

Oleksandr Gvozdyk, the former world light heavyweight boxing champion from Ukraine, has retired from the sport. His retirement was announced by his manager Egis Klimas. The Ukranian boxer won the WBC title in December 2018 after knocking out Adonis Stevenson, who had held the belt for the last five years.

Oleksandr Gvozdyk represented Ukraine in the light heavyweight category at the 2012 Olympics and made his country proud by winning a bronze medal.
