Azamgarh district in Uttar Pradesh has the most rivers. A total of 17 rivers flow through this district. Some of the main rivers are Saryu, Tamsa, Ghaghra, Marai, Ora and Bagdi. These rivers help in farming and daily life. Azamgarh is known for having the highest numbers of rivers in the entire state.
