36th National Games also known as National Games Gujarat 2022, will be hosted by Gujarat. The Indian Olympic Association (IOA), announced that the games will be held on 27 September to 10th October 2022 in six cities of Gujarat. This is the first time the state is hosting a national sporting event. The National Games will have more than 34 sporting events in six different venues. The previous National Games was the 35th edition which was held in Kerala and there were 33 sports included in the event. The 36th edition of the National Games will be held in Gujarat between 27 September to 10 October 2022. There will be more than 34 events that will be played in 6 venues in Gujarat. The Opening ceremony will be held in Ahmedabad. The Chief Minister of Gujarat announced the following venues for the National Games.
There are more than 34 games included in the National Games 2022. Two new events Yogasana and Mallakhamba, and Indigenous games like Kho-Kho and Kabbadi are also included in the National Games 2022. A list of games is given below which are included in the National Games.
