Daryl Mitchell of New Zealand: 552 runs in 9 innings

New Zealand’s middle-order batsmen have been instrumental in giving the team crucial momentum during the middle phase of matches. They delivered a brilliant performance against India in Dharamshala. The highest individual score in this World Cup for one of these middle-order batsmen is 134 runs, achieved during the semi-final against India at Wankhede in Mumbai.

Rohit Sharma of India: 550 runs in 10 innings
