She was well-known in India as a poet, politician, and administrator. She was one of the well-known female figures of the 20th century and was born on February 13th, 1879 in Hyderabad. Because of her poetry, she was often referred to as the “Nightingale of India.” She was a key figure in the Indian National Movement, which fought for the nation’s independence.
