Bathukamma: Telangana festival begins across state, PM greets everyone

Telangana festival Bathukamma: The state floral festival known as Bathukamma has started in Telangana, and ladies are taking part in it in great numbers. The state’s nine-day official celebration got underway on the 25th. On the auspicious anniversary of Bathukamma, Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked everyone, especially the Nari Shakti of Telangana. PM Modi expressed his desire in a tweet that this event will strengthen our ties to nature and pique our interest in flowers.

Telangana festival Bathukamma: Key Points

At Raj Bhavan last night, Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan joined women from various backgrounds in celebrating Bathukamma.
The primary festivities will take place on the third of the next month, which is Saddula Bathukamma.
Women and girls chant and dance around beautifully arranged flowers during the nine-day yearly celebration.
The floral displays will be submerged in nearby ponds at the festival’s conclusion.
The celebrations that were organised in various regions of the state included participation from ministers, MPs, MLAs, and other elected officials.
On the first day of Bathukamma, Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao welcomed everyone.
