The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) which is chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Cabinet has approved the revised total capital cost of ₹3,630.77 crore for the construction of the Greenfield connectivity corridor to Jewar International Airport. This project will be implemented in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. This Greenfield connectivity to Jewar International Airport is in Uttar Pradesh will be developed under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM).

This Greenfield connectivity project to Jewar International Airport will involve the construction of a 31.42 km long corridor. And which connecting the Delhi-Faridabad-Ballabhgarh-Sohna spur of the Delhi Mumbai Expressway to the airport.
This strategic road corridor will provide direct and faster travel routes for passengers and cargo moving between the National Capital Region (NCR) and the new international airport at Jewar.
The project will expected to improve regional mobility and reduce travel time significantly.
Multimodal Transport Integration in NCR
This Greenfield connectivity corridor to Jewar International Airport will joined with several important transportation networks.
These include the Eastern Peripheral Expressway, Yamuna Expressway and the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC).
This type of connectivity will create a multimodal transport network, enabling seamless movement of passengers and freight across major transport corridors.
This project is expected to enhance logistics efficiency and strengthen economic integration within the National Capital Region.
Elevated Highway Section in the Connectivity Project
Out of the 31.42 km Greenfield connectivity project it will approximately 11 km will be constructed as an elevated highway.
This elevated stretch will form a critical part of the corridor linking the DND-Ballabhgarh Bypass with Jewar International Airport.
This elevated infrastructure is designed to support urban expansion and reduce traffic congestion in developing areas.
The additional cost of the elevated section is estimated at ₹689.24 crore. And out of which the Government of Haryana will contribute ₹450 crore.
Hybrid Annuity Mode for Project Implementation
The Greenfield connectivity project to Jewar International Airport will be implemented under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) and it is a public private partnership model used for highway construction in India.
Under this model the government shares project costs with private developers while ensuring efficient construction and maintenance.
The approach helps accelerate infrastructure development while reducing financial risk for the government.
