The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced Shubman Gill as the Men’s Player of the Month and Sophia Dunkley as the Women’s Player of the Month for July 2025, recognising their exceptional performances on the international stage.

Shubman Gill, in his first series as India’s Test captain, produced a remarkable batting display against England in the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, which ended in a 2–2 draw. He beat England’s Ben Stokes and South Africa’s Wiaan Mulder to win the award.
