Parvesh Singh Verma is a well-known politician from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He was born on 7 November 1977 and has served as a Member of Parliament (MP) from West Delhi and as a Member of the Delhi Legislative Assembly. He is the son of former Delhi Chief Minsiter Sahib Singh Verma. Over the years, he has won elections with record-breaking margins and held important positions in the Indian Parliament.
Early Life and Education of Parvesh Verma
Parvesh Verma was born into a Hindu Jat family in Delhi. His father, Sahib Singh Verma, was a respected politician and former Chief Minister of Delhi. His mother’s name is Sahib Kaur. He has one brother and three sisters.
For his education, Verma attended Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram. Later, he completed his graduation from Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi. He also pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Fore School of Management.

Political Career of Parvesh Singh Verma
Parvesh Verma started his political journey in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He wanted to contest in the 2009 Lok Sabha elections from West Delhi but was not given a ticket. However, in 2013, he contested the Delhi Assembly Elections from Mehrauli and won against Yoganand Shastri of the Congress Party.
In 2014, he was elected as a Member of Parliament (MP) from West Delhi in the 16th Lok Sabha elections. He won with a record margin of 2,68,586 votes. He was re-elected in 2019 in the 17th Lok Sabha elections, again breaking records with a margin of 5.78 lakh votes, the highest in Delhi’s history.
In 2025, he won the Delhi Legislative Assembly Election from the New Delhi Assembly constituency.

Personal Life of Parvesh Verma
Parvesh Verma is married to Swati Singh, daughter of former Union Minister Vikram Verma from Madhya Pradesh. The couple has three children – Sanidhi Singh, Prisha Singh and Shiven Singh. He also runs an NGO called Rashtriya Swabhiman.
