The 42nd edition of the India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2023 kicks off at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. The esteemed event will be inaugurated by Anupriya Patel, the Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry.
Theme: Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam
Running until the 27th of this month, the fourteen-day fair centers around the theme of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.” This theme underscores the importance of interconnectedness and collaborative efforts in trade for achieving sustainable growth and well-being.
Global Participation
With over three thousand exhibitors, the fair boasts a diverse representation from both India and abroad. Representatives from 13 countries, including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Oman, Egypt, Nepal, Thailand, Turkiye, Vietnam, Tunisia, Kyrgystan, Lebanon, Iran, and UAE, are actively participating in the event from overseas.
Exclusive Business Days
The initial five days of the Trade Fair are reserved exclusively for the business category. Subsequently, from the 19th of this month, the fair will open its doors to the general public.
Partner and Focus States
Bihar and Kerala take the spotlight as Partner States, while Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, and Uttar Pradesh are recognized as Focus States, contributing to the diverse array of exhibitors and offerings.
Timings and Ticketing Information
The fair will operate from 10 A.M. to 7.30 PM daily. Visitors have the convenience of purchasing tickets online or from select 55 metro stations. Entry is free for Divyang (differently-abled individuals) and senior citizens.
