Role of CBDT and PRARAMBH Initiative
The launch of Kar Saathi is part of the broader reform agenda which is led by the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT).
CBDT Chairman Ravi Agrawal highlighted that this initiative during the rollout of PRARAMBH an outreach program which aimed at to ensuring a smooth transition to the new tax regime.
PRARAMBH (Policy Reform and Responsible Action for Mission Viksit Bharat) focuses on,

Simplification Under the New Income Tax Act, 2025
