Arnab Banerjee, the Managing Director & CEO of CEAT Ltd., has been elected as the new Chairman of the Automotive Tyre Manufacturers’ Association (ATMA). ATMA is the national industry body representing the automotive tyre sector in India.
About Arnab Banerjee
Arnab Banerjee joined CEAT in 2005 as the Vice President-Sales and Marketing. He has held several important positions within the company, including being the Chief Operating Officer since 2018, before taking over his current role as the Managing Director & CEO.
Banerjee is a highly qualified professional, holding degrees from prestigious institutions such as IIT Kharagpur, IIM Kolkata, and Harvard Business School. He also possesses an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) Certification.
About ATMA
Established in 1975, the Automotive Tyre Manufacturers’ Association (ATMA) is one of the most active national industry bodies in India. It represents the ₹90,000 crore ($11 bn) automotive tyre industry.
ATMA has eight large tyre companies as its members, including a mix of Indian and international tyre majors. These members account for over 90 percent of the total tyre production in India.
