He shot a commendable 33 in the six-man final, finishing fourth in the qualification round with a score of 119. The gold in the shotgun event went to Iran’s Mohammad Beyranvand after a shoot-off with China’s Yuhao Guo.

Commonwealth Games gold medallist Shreyasi Singh participated in the women’s trap event, securing a fifth-place finish in the final with a total of 19 points. Shreyasi had earlier qualified for the final in the fourth position with a cumulative score of 115 across five rounds. Despite missing out on an individual medal, Shreyasi contributed to the team’s success.

Women’s Trap Team Silver

Shreyasi Singh, along with teammates Manisha Keer and Bhavya Tripathi, showcased a strong team performance, securing the silver medal in the women’s trap team event. The Indian trio accumulated a total of 328 points, finishing behind China and ahead of Kazakhstan in a closely contested competition.
