China team wins FIDE chess.com Online Nations Cup

China has won the 1st edition of FIDE Chess.com Online Nations Cup against the USA. In the finals, China faced the USA which ended in a draw with 2-2. China was adjudged the winner on the basis of its topping the points table in the round-robin stage.

In this tournament, India finished at 5th rank. The Superfinal concluded six days of online competitive chess at the highest level between six international teams full of top grandmasters. These 6 teams are China, USA, Europe, Russia, India, Rest of the world.
