India Approves New NDC Targets for 2031-2035: Emissions and Clean Energy Goals Explained

Union Cabinet under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi has approved the India’s updated Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) for 2031-2035. The new targets are to be submitted to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The targets are aimed to significantly reduce emissions and boost clean energy.
